Robert Barbarowicz is a member of the Board of Directors of the Queen of Angels Foundation. He joined the Board in 2011.
He is a member of St. Andrew’s in Pasadena. He is a Knight of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and Malta. He is active in the service to the poor, sick and needy through programs of the Los Angeles Location of the Order, which is also known as the Order of Malta. Bob is the coordinator of the Parish Nurse Program of the Order in Los Angeles and the co-coordinator of its Malta Sunday Classic Movies at St. John of God Retirement and Care Center. From 2011 to 2012, he was the co-coordinator of the Feeding the Needy program of the Order at the St. Francis Center.
Bob is an attorney and former executive of several insurance companies. In 2011, he joined Michelman & Robinson, LLP of Los Angeles and became a partner of that law firm in 2013. He is a member of its insurance regulatory group. Bob focuses on the resolution of complex insurance issues in matters before state insurance regulators. Bob was formerly an executive officer of Balboa Insurance Group in Irvine, California before joining Michelman & Robinson, LLP. He is admitted to practice in California and Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where he majored in journalism and The Dickinson School of Law of Penn State. Bob is a member of the Board of Visitors of the Penn State College of Communications.
