Nancy Louise Iredale

Nancy Louise Iredale is a Board Member and Vice President/Archdiocesan Affairs of the Queen of Angels Foundation. When she is not practicing tax law, Ms. Iredale devotes her time, talent and treasure to the two Catholic lay religious orders of which she is an active member: as a Dame of Magistral Grace of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta (www.orderofmaltausawestern.org) and as a Lady Grand Cross of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, Western USA Lieutenancy (www.khswesternusa.org). She is also a supporting member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels Parish (http://olacathedral.org/cathedral).

Ms. Iredale graduated first in her class from the School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in her junior year.  She received her law degree from Yale Law School, where she published in the Review of Law and Social Action and was a member of the Board of Governors of Yale Legislative Services.  Beginning her tax career in Washington, D.C., Ms. Iredale served as tax counsel to Senator William Brock on the Senate Finance Committee while the committee was writing the Tax Reform Act of 1976.  Ms. Iredale is a tax partner in the international law firm of Paul, Hastings (www.paulhastings.com).  She served as the chair of the tax department of the firm for over a decade.  Ms. Iredale provides tax advice to international and domestic clients in all types of commercial transactions and has tried and/or settled federal and California civil and criminal tax cases and was cited by her peers as one of the state’s most prominent tax litigators.  Ms. Iredale has often been a speaker on resolving controversies with the taxing authorities.

Ms. Iredale is a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel, a Member of the Planning Committee of the USC Gould School of Law Tax Institute, and serves on the Red Mass Committee of the St. Thomas More Society.  Ms. Iredale serves on the Board of Trustees of La Salle High School and on the Board of Governors of the Los Angeles County Lincoln Clubs.  She is a member of Legatus and of the Rotary Club of Los Angeles.
