R. Scott Turicchi is a Board Member of the foundation and President of j2 Global, Inc., a major provide of communications, data, and messaging services. He is a Knight of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George, a chivalric order under the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies (whose first head was King Carlos III of Spain, founder of Los Angeles and California). He is extremely active in Catholic causes, serving as a board member or trustee for the Council for Institutional Advancement of the Pontifical North American College; Thomas Aquinas College; Legatus; the Finance Council of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pasadena; the Catholic Schools Textbook Project; St. Monica Academy, Pasadena, and the Lumen Christi Institute. In the course of this work he has received the Angel of Life Award from Pregnancy Counseling Center in Mission Hills, CA; the Order of St. Albert the Great from Thomas Aquinas College; and the Umiltà Award from the Pontifical North American College.
Mr. Turicchi is a 1985 graduate of Claremont-McKenna College with a degree in economics and mathematics. He is 50 years old, married for more than 13 years to Lannette and lives in Pasadena with their three daughters (Kristina, Karinna and Kassandra). He and his wife Lannette are members of the Papal Foundation, CALL (Catholic Association of Latino Leaders), the Society of Fellows of the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens, Benefactors of the Norton Simon Museum, Patrons of the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, and Lifetime Members and Sponsors of exhibits at the Skirball Cultural Center. In addition, Scott lectors regularly at his local parish and enjoys reading, investing, collecting Japanese art and golf.
